I bill my services on an hourly basis and you will be able to determine how much guidance you need to complete your project. I’ll listen carefully to determine what you want and what you need, and I often use a questionnaire that is helpful for identifying color suggestions to make for your project. We will look at many color samples to determine the best possibilities, then I’ll order you large color samples for careful evaluation before making your final decisions. Many things influence how a color is perceived; light, exposure, adjacent colors, floor plan or weather conditions and all of these will be taken into account. Once a color palette has been established I’ll provide you with color specifications for all color placements (with recommended paint sheens) for you to order your paint or give to your painting contractor as a plan to follow. When projects are complicated I’m able to meet with your contractor to discuss painting instructions.
