Hard work has its rewards
I’ve shared my involvement in the historic Worthington House renovation project in previous posts and I am so happy to be part of such a wonderful effort to preserve something really special to the small community of Quilcene, located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. So many talented people have donated countless hours of their time and efforts to giving this beautiful old Victorian mansion new life. They deserve to be rewarded…and they have! The project has received the 2018 State Historic Preservation Officer Award for Stewardship citing it being “a shining example of tireless stewardship.” Follow this link to see the article published in the Washington State Historical Society’s magazine: Columbia-The Magazine of Northwest History, Summer 2018
Congratulations to all of you on a job well done!
